MODULAR

Flexible. Adaptable. Customisable. Modifiable. Scalable.
Architectural Design and Construction Components that can be Reconfigured, Combined, Expanded and/or Reduced.

ARK
Derivative of the Latin word 'Arca' meaning Box.
Symbolic of Noah's Ark.
Survival. Rescue. Refuge. Shelter. Protection.
A Safe Space.
New beginnings.
Innovation.
A journey through Transformation.
A vessel that carries Evolution.
A Sanctuary.

ARKETYPE

Derives from the Greek words «Αρχή» (beginning, origin) and «Τύπος» (type, model).

Αρχή, αρχιτεκτονική … Architecture.

Τύπος, τυποποίηση … Typology.

A Prototype emphasising uniqueness and originality.
A fusion of Tradition + Modernity inspiring new Forms and Spaces rather than conventional ones. Fundamental Architectural Models and Typologies.
Identifiable patterns that serve as Foundations for Architectural Diversification and Evolution.

MODULARK

Modular Buildings that Evolve with Users and Environments.
Structural Safety. Evolution. Adaptation. Endurance.
Geometric grids of interlocking Volumes.
Efficiency and Smart Design.
Sustainability. Flexibility.
Future Ready.
Technical credibility and Emotional resonance.
Symbolism. Innovation.
A dialogue with History and Culture that Generates new Architectural meaning.
Prototypical Typology concepts organising Form, Space and Function into Archetypes.
Bridging Tradition and Innovation.
Architectural and Cultural depth.
Design clarity and efficiency.

The creation of ModulArk was inspired from 5 basic necessities that derive from the average
person's Dream to live in a Home of their own:

Adaptation
Customisation
Flexibility
Budget Precision
Time Reduction

We live in an era where the global cost of living {and construction) is constantly increasing
while the opportunities and possibilities for people to create and live in their Dream Home
are incessantly decreasing.

Ironically enough and although technology has progressed beyond expectations and limits,
the average residential design, construction methods and materials seem to lack evolution.
ModulArk's quest and approach to Architectural Design and Construction is inspired
by standardised Elements and Typologies.

Creating Modules that are manufactured Off-Site and assembled On-Site.
These Modules function as independent elements of an entity seamlessly integrating themselves
into a cohesive Architectural and Environmental eco-system.
Subdividing a Structure into multiple repetitive components allows for a Modular Architecture enabling greater Efficiency, Precision, Scalability and Flexibility compared to
conventional full on-site construction.

The advantages over conventional construction include:

Reduced Construction Timeline
Reduced Material Waste
Improved Quality Control
Enhanced Sustainability
Precise Budgeting

Architectural and Structural components are produced in controlled factory environments
resulting in design Consistency and Quality Optimisation while simultaneously minimizing the Environmental impact.
Modular Architecture generates less waste while also optimising the use of Eco-Friendly materials resulting in Energy efficiency and saving.

Architectural Typologies enhance adaptability.
Construction can easily be Expanded, Reduced, Reconfigured and Transformed
with relative ease as needs Evolve.
While the components of Construction are produced Off-Site the assembling occurs On-Site.
As a result of this simultaneous activity, Projects can be completed much faster
as opposed to conventional construction methods.
Standardised Modular Architectural Typologies results in precise material Quantities and Budgeting.

The possibility to Modify the Typologies, Forms, Volumes, Functions, Services, Structure and Materials guarantees the possibility for Evolution and anticipates the Tailoring of the
Need for Change over time.

Times change.
Necessities change.
People change.

Why Live in the same Home?
